NAF Jobs is Moving!

Where are we going?

Effective November 30, 2019, the www.nafjobs.org website will be decommissioned. All NAF vacancy announcements will then move to www.USAjobs.gov beginning December 2, 2019

The NAF HR office will be closed from November 12-22, 2019, to receive training for the transition. Internal personnel actions will still process during this time. We ask for your patience during this transition so we can ensure the best quality service for arrivals into the new system.

What is NAF?

NAF stands for Non-Appropriated Funds and is a form of federal employment. They differ from federal civil service due to monies coming from a different source. This source helps funds government organizations worldwide like Air Force clubs, bowling centers, golf courses, and many more activities.

Why should you apply?

There are many benefits to being a part of the Air Force team as a civilian here on Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex. You'll be supporting our Airmen in a place where they learn to become an Officer; this base won't be like any other you've heard of! The rate of people coming and going is astounding, and we're looking for the best-qualified people to help us take care of them.

If you've wanted an opportunity to assist our military, then here's how you can do it! Our NAF employees work every day to assist our uniformed members and their families through all sorts of facilities. We aim to bring a smile to their face, ease their stress, and prepare them for their next upcoming mission. While our enlisted and officers are out doing their work, we ensure their families are taken care of in a safe and happy environment.

NAF is seeking people of all sorts of backgrounds, talents, and skills. Chefs, clerks, coordinators, representatives, assistants, and aids are being sought for on a daily basis. They cover a variety of facilities around our installation such as our Youth Centers, Outdoor Recreation, Office work, Food Service, Hospitality and more. Pay and benefits may vary depending on job titles and length of employment.
